Meld dig som frivillig til Julemarkedet 2009

Sømandskirkens julemarked bliver i år afholdt fredag den 20. november kl. 17-20 og lørdag den 21. november kl. 11-17. Dette er årets chance for at opleve en lille bid af Danmark i hjertet af New York. I disse dage vil kirken være forvandlet til et ægte dansk julemarked med boder, fyldt med danske delikatesser, isenkram og nostalgi.

Kirken har som altid brug for en masse ekstra hænder i forbindelse med de praktiske forberedelser. Igen i år har vi brug for en masse frivillige. Som frivillig møder du en masse andre danskere og indgår som en del af et større team. Du kan allerede nu melde dig som frivillig hjælper til julemarkedet ved at sende en mail til: julemarked@dankirkeny.org eller ringe til kirken på: 718 875 0042

Husk at sætte et kryds i kalenderen den næstsidste weekend i november.

The Annual Danish Christmas Fair 2009

The Christmas Fair of 2009 will be held on the 20th from 5 pm - 8 pm and the 21st of November from 11 am - 5 pm. It is with great pride and anticipation that we invite you all to visit the Christmas Fair again this year. The Christmas Fair is the biggest fundraiser in the church and we finance the entire new year's work and activity based on the donations from the Christmas Fair. Save the dates and come and support the Danish Seamen's Church! This year as well we'll be needing around 200 volunteers and we hope that the congregation will offer their help and high spirits for some hours Friday and/or Saturday as they have done in the past.
