Information and Office Manager with a Marketing Flair
Scandinavian Tourism Inc. (a company jointly owned by the governments of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden) seeks an Information and Office Manager for their New York City office. The candidate should be highly capable, motivated, detail-oriented, enthusiastic and well versed with 1-2 years of professional experience within the administrative and marketing fields.
Primary Responsibilities office:
- Day-to-day contact with clients and the public
- Handling of tourism related requests and inquiries
- Maintain office environment
- Inventory and database management
- Assist office staff when needed
Primary Responsibilities Marketing:
- Coordinate content and advertising sales for Scandinavian website; goscandianvia.com
- Coordinate joint Scandinavian events, campaigns, news letters and projects
Preferred skills and abilities:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn new skills, procedures, and flexibility in accepting varied assignments
- Confident, enthusiastic, positive attitude and team player
- Knowledge of Scandinavia and at least one Scandinavian language a must
- In-depth computer skills a must
- Knowledge of tourism a plus
- U.S. working papers a must
We offer a dynamic exciting position in an international environment. The position is based on full-time employment, but may also be divided into two part-time positions. Excellent position for a flexible individual who enjoys taking on new projects and contributing ideas. Some travel required.
